Understanding Early Childhood Anxiety

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this presentation participants will learn about the all-too-common issue of early childhood anxiety. From typical separation anxiety to more extreme anxious disorders, behavioral manifestations are often confusing and misread by the adults and caregivers in a child's life. This session will aid adults in their ability to identify and respond appropriately to anxious children.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • identify and appropriately respond to behavioral manifestations exhibited by anxious children.
  • understand the primary components of various early childhood anxiety disorders.
