Discover Yourself & The Personality of Others
When we wipe away the behavioral and contextual circumstances and questions that typically define who we are and how we engage with others, we find a truer understanding of our deepest, unwavering core values and begin to discover how we experience, engage with and respond to the people and the world around us - and why. This knowledge leads to stronger relationships in every area of life; personally & professionally, children & adults, family & friends, and leads to achieving one's highest and greatest contributions to themselves and others. In this program, we will offer the opportunity for each attendee to take this revolutionary assessment and couple it with a playful, insightful and eye-opening keynote to unpack, understand and effectively apply the content and knowledge to one's life, business, career, and relationships.

Before the conference please complete the Core Values Index (CVI) at http://members.taylorprotocols.com/Tools/CVIGift.aspx?GiftHash=5ac7631a-02f8-1031-b155-bf7f3badb170.

Parents as Leaders of Change: Invisible Innovators
The presentation brings forth the leadership theory of Positive Deviance. Rather than following top-down experts to solve problems, the positive deviance (PD) approach empowers parents and ordinary people impacted by an issue, to discover solutions for themselves. Positive Deviance is successfully implemented in over forty countries in which there is a letting go of traditional ideas about authority and power, and allowing parents to be innovators, and be leaders of change to solve problems and improve programs.

At the end of this session the participant will be able to:
  • Describe the successful leadership theory of Positive Deviance and why the leadership approach is a positive way for parents to be the innovators to implement change.
  • Complete a positive change plan using the Positive Deviance approach on an issue of choice.

The Pits & Pleasures of Parenting
This upbeat and musical keynote reminds us that the journey as a parent includes both the pits and perils of parenting, as well as the pleasures and payoffs. And because we parents are the child's first and most important teacher, it's important we do it the best we can, the first time. Let’s have some fun while we reaffirm our serious goal to be the best dads and moms we can be, and review some important skills and strategies to help us succeed in our journey through the pits & pleasures of parenting.

At the end of this session the participant will be able to:
  • Identify and better understand both their own pits & perils they face, and the pleasures & payoffs they receive as a parent, and can explain at least one way to better manage their challenges as parents.
  • Explain at least 1-2 other skills or technique covered that they can use to be more congruent, resilient and effective as a parent.
